Do you like video games? Do you have a Twitter account? Do you have a couple hours free on Monday nights? If the answer is “Yes”, then you need to join us for the DreamStation.cc Video Games Twitter Chat on Mondays from 8:00-10:00pm ET.
I already participate in a similar web design community Twitter chat on Thursday nights called the Design Community Twitter Hours (DCTH), which I recommend also checking out. After participating in DCTH I thought that it would be nice to have a similar thing for video games and this is where the DreamStation.cc Video Games Twitter Chat was born.
We plan on talking about all things video games for the two hours each week. If you are part of the industry or just a fan of PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PSP, PC or any other video games, then you will enjoy chatting and meeting new friends during these hours. Have a question about a game or system? Come ask it during this time and someone should have the answer.
When?
- 8:00-10:00pm ET every Monday
Where?
- On TweetChat in the “#DSccTC” room.
What Do I Need?
How Do I Join the Chat?
- Visit TweetChat and login using your Twitter account.
- Once logged in type in “#DSccTC” in the “Room to Enter” field and press the “Enter Room” button.
- After you are in the “#DSccTC” TweetChat room you will see all the tweets by everyone on Twitter that have the “#DSccTC” hashtag in them. Feel free to @reply to certain people or just post a question or message directly to the chat stream.
How Can I Help Spread the Word?
- Tell all your Twitter followers that you are participating in the DreamStation.cc Video Games Twitter Chat (#DSccTC) and ask them to join you.
- Explain to your followers why a lot of your tweets between 8:00 and 10:00pm ET on Mondays have the “#DSccTC” #hashtag in them.
