There's still no release date, we know it's coming this year, sooner than later. Estimated date of arrival is Q1 and that's about as specific as it gets. Normally these things have been known to show up around June, but it's all a coin toss at this point. Anyway, Wired has a review/preview of it, which gives it great marks, but is anyone going to upgrade again after you may have just upgraded as recently as a month and a half ago? I got my DSi shortly after launch, which would make it less than a year old at this point and I would definitely consider upgrading again and just passing off my DSi to my better half. What are we doing at this point? The Go! is smaller and the DS is getting bigger. It's not going to fit snugly in my back pocket anymore. At what point is Nintendo going to just make a laptop/netbook already?

I'm fine with my regular DSi. I don't really need a larger one.

Totally not upgrading at all, I am perfectly fine with my DSi.

If I do upgrade, I am not going to till way after launch in hopes that a flash card gets developed for it.

I love my AceKard 2i too much as it is right now to even bother with upgrading.

Why didn't they call this Nintendo DSi SP (Second Purchase), since it is the same system but bigger? Didn't they make the Nintendo DS Lite smaller than the original Nintendo DS, since they felt the original was too big. Now they bring out the Nintendo DSi XL which is bigger again. Are they going to make up their mind?

I know they brought this out to appeal to older people that need to wear glasses and will like the larger stylus and screen, since the stylus will be easier to hold and the screen will be easier to see. Will younger people also buy this one or is it specifically designed to appeal to the older Nintendo DS fans?
