AR Tonelico Qoga Knell of Ar Ciel Announced for PS3, Coming Spring 2011

Santa Ana, Calif. (Jul 15, 2010) -NIS America, Inc. announced today that the final chapter in the Ar tonelico series will be coming to North America and Europe in spring 2011. Unlike the 2 previous versions the latest incarnation is developed exclusively for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and takes advantage of the powerful processing capabilities. Both the graphics and battle system is all new, created from ground up for an unique gaming experience.

Developed and published in Japan by Banpresto Co., Ltd., Ar tonelico 3 marks a new approach to the RPG genre by seamlessly combining simulation with role-playing. Gamers can not only customize weapons and items, but now design their character’s personalities, skills, and
appearance through virtual interaction. Also past events will intersect with future game play as well as the outcome of the game.

ABOUT AR TONELICO QOGA

Ar tonelico Qoga is the final installment in the Ar tonelico series. The story takes place in Sol Cluster, a kingdom ruled by an organization called Clustania and their ultimate goal is to enslave humans and rule the world. However, the two key Reyvateils (humanoids) they need to accomplish their goal meet Aoto and fight back against injustice.

KEY FEATURES

Action Battle
Unlike the previous Ar tonelico series, the latest title incorporates an action based combat system. You will run and attack as if you are playing an fighting game or action game.
Song Magic
During combat song magic can be used by making key button pressing according to the rhythm of the music. If your rhythm is good the stronger the magic becomes.
Cosmosphere
Ar tonelico features a revolutionary system that combines character development with skill acquisition. By diving into the Reyvateil’s subconscious world, one gets to know the character of the team member better, while acquiring new spells.
Multiple Story Paths
Depending on how you progress through the game your outcome will change. There is over 2 hours worth of ending for extreme replay value.
