Burnout Paradise for Xbox 360 Requires HDD for Full Online Play

Criterion Games worked with Microsoft to try to find a solution to allow gamers with only the 64MB memory unit to be able to play Burnout Paradise online, but couldn’t come up with one.  So, the only online features you can take advantage of if you don’t have a hard drive for your Xbox 360 are the Road Rules.

Road Rules allows you to compete to see who has the fastest time on the 64 roads in the offline game or the highest score in Showtime mode.  The scores for these will be uploaded and you will be allowed to compare your scores against your friends, but you won’t be able to race and do the challenges with your friends without having a hard drive attached to your Xbox 360.

For more details check out the official statement on CriterionGames.com.
