Crazy Taxi Smashes Onto PlayStation Network Today, Xbox LIVE Arcade Version Comes Next Week

Dreamcast and Arcade Classic Now Available in HD.

SAN FRANCISCO - November 16, 2010 SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced that Crazy TaxiTM is now available for download on PlayStation® Network, and will be available next week, Nov. 24, on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Digitally remastered with High-Definition 720p graphics, players can enjoy all the fun of the original arcade and DreamcastTM classics for a fare of $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points. PlayStation®Plus Members can snag this title for 20% off for the first two weeks of release, until November 30, 2010.”If today were the debut of Crazy Taxi, we’re certain its unique blend of arcade action and precision driving would still lead it to become one of SEGA’s most popular titles,” said Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business of SEGA of America. “This new and improved entry in the series will bring as much joy and happiness to players in 2010 as the previous games have in years past.”

In Crazy Taxi, players must barrel through traffic-packed streets, hurtle off parking garages, and crazy dash their way to big money in a frantic race to scare up the most fares. In addition to being digitally re-mastered in HD, Crazy Taxi includes leaderboards and trophy awards, two game modes (Arcade and Original) and 16 mini games to hone players’ insane driving skills.
