Deca Sports 3 Goes Gold; Coming October 26

Hit Sports Compilation Videogame Goes Gold, Heads to Wii This Fall.

San Mateo, Calif. – Fans of the DECA SPORTS franchise will have a new sequel to liven up chilly days this Fall with DECA SPORTS 3. The game, published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American subsidiary of HUDSON SOFT, has just gone gold and will be available exclusively for WiiTM on October 26 for $29.99. DECA SPORTS 3 will also feature support for the Wii MotionPlusTM accessory for the first time in ten exciting new sporting events.

“DECA SPORTS 3 is a great way for families to spend time together in one wholesome, budget-conscious package,” said Dai Kudo, Director of Consumer Products at Hudson Entertainment. “The same familiar, easy-to-use controls are back, allowing gamers of all ages to enjoy ten complete new sporting events, along with the addition of Wii MotionPlus.”

DECA SPORTS 3 marks the return of the best-selling and award-winning DECA SPORTS series to Wii. Players will compete in springboard diving, volleyball, giant slalom, racquetball, air racing, kayak slalom, lacrosse, log cutting, halfpipe and fencing. Simple controls allow families and friends to quickly pick up and play together with up to four players, while all-new advanced controls allow expert users to take advantage of Wii MotionPlus. Customizable teams are back with the Team Editor, which allows players to pick the name, colors, emblem, style and attributes of their teams. Players can also hop into the action online and have fun against DECAthletes from all over their region using the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection for volleyball, lacrosse, racquetball and fencing.
