Roubaix, France - 6th July, 2011 - Vulkania, DOFUS’s new game zone, was designed with the summer holidays in mind and is only available during the months of July and August. From the 5th July onwards, DOFUS players can access Vulkania no matter what level their characters are.
Found just south of Otomai Island, the Archipelago of Vulkania offers a range of different terrains: white, sandy beaches, tropical jungles, smoking craters and sparkling caverns. Even the most audacious characters will find a real challenge amidst the volcanoes, as Vulkania’s native wildlife is peculiar, to say the least. Say hello to new monster species such as the Sauroshell family, as well as a Petsmount - a pet that you can ride - known as a Madreggon. But that’s not all: Vulkania is also home to Grozilla and Grasmera, two terrors who are back to shake the World of Twelve once more!
Vulkania, a new island which includes:
- 165 new game screens to explore
- 40 brand new quests
- 30 new monsters
- 13 new equipment items (3 complete sets)
- 5 craters to discover (adapted to suit all levels)
- 3 new titles to unlock
- 1 new community challenge: the Heart-Breaker
- 1 new emote
- 1 new type of pet
