In our last few XP events, Gearheads the world over racked up some serious experience and propelled in rank from “paltry†to “ultrabeefy.†This time around, Epic Games executive producer Rod Fergusson has promised that for every thousand followers of the official Gears of War Facebook page, you’ll get another +1x XP over Labor Day weekend. As of right now, the number of followers stands at roughly 21,000, meaning a brain-melting 21x XP in Gears 2 multiplayer. We can do better—but only until midnight PST tonight. Follow the Gears Facebook page! Force your friends to follow it! Not ask, force. Together, we can rocket that multiplier into the stratosphere.

25x XP is what it ended up as. I guess I’ll be firing this up again and trying to go from 50-100 if I can.
