LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game Demo Now Available on Xbox LIVE

May 3, 2011 — Disney Interactive Studios announced today that a demo of LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, the action adventure game that brings to life the Pirates of the Caribbean world in LEGO brick form, is available on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE.The game demo will feature the familiar Port Royal level, from the first film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Players can jump into a tropical pirate adventure delivered in the humorous and quirky LEGO videogames style.  The demo allows players to explore Port Royal in both Story Mode and Free Play, where players can seek out compass treasure and 10 ship-in-a-bottle minikits using 17 of the 70+ characters from the full game, where players will be able to play through all of the previous Pirates of the Caribbean movies, including the fourth installment, On Stranger Tides.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game will be released on May 10 and is rated E10+ for everyone 10 and up.  The game will be available for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the WiiTM console, Games For Windows - LIVE, Nintendo 3DSTM and Nintendo DSTM hand-held systems and the Sony PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system.
