LittleBigPlanet iPhone and iPod Touch Wallpaper

As LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation 3 draws closer to being released later this year and with the launch of iPhone 3G and iPhone and iPod Touch Software Update 2.0, I thought everyone might like to add a little bit of LittleBigPlanet to their Apple devices.

I scoured the Internet and also dug up PlayStation: The Official Magazine (Issue 009 - August 2008) and EDGE (Issue 174 - April 2007) to come up with the following iPhone and iPod Touch LittleBigPlanet wallpapers.  Now you can create a LittleBigPhone and a LittleBigPod Touch to take along with you as you wait for Media Molecule to finish the development of LittleBigPlanet for PS3.

iPhone / iPod Touch Wallpaper Instructions

To use these on your iPhone or iPod Touch you will need to do the following:

1. Right-click on on the images above and choose “Save Image As…” in Firefox or “Save Picture As…” in Internet Explorer.
2. After you choose that you will need to save the pictures to your hard drive in a location where you will be able to find them.
3. Next, you will need to plug your iPhone or iPod Touch into your computer and go into iTunes where you will need to go to the “Photos” tab under your iPhone or iPod Touch device to setup the syncing.
4. Once on the “Photos” tab you will need to pick how you want to sync photos between your Mac/PC and iPhone. Make sure that the folder you saved the above images in is part of the sync options.
5. Now, sync your iPhone or iPod Touch with your Mac/PC.

After you sync your iPhone or iPod Touch with your Mac/PC and move the wallpaper images over to it you will need to do the following to set the wallpaper:

1. Go under the “Photos / Photo Library” section on your iPhone/iPod Touch and then find the wallpaper you would like to use.
2. Once viewing the wallpaper, tap the small square icon with an arrow in it in the bottom left corner of the screen.
3. Then tap “Use As Wallpaper”.
4. Move the picture around and zoom in or out if you like and then tap the “Set Wallpaper” button.

If you have the iPhone/iPod Touch Software Update 2.0 then you can do the following to get the wallpaper on your phone without having to do the steps listed above:

1. Visit this web page on your iPhone or iPod Touch using the Safari web browser.
2. After you arrive at this page hold your finger down on the desired wallpaper for a few second until the “Save Image / Cancel” screen appears.
3. Choose “Save Image” and the wallpaper will be saved to your device under the “Photos / Camera Roll” section.
4. Go under the “Photos / Camera Roll” section on your iPhone/iPod Touch and then find the wallpaper you just saved.
5. Once viewing the wallpaper, tap the small square icon with an arrow in it in the bottom left corner of the screen.
6. Then tap “Use As Wallpaper”.
7. Move the picture around and zoom in or out if you like and then tap the “Set Wallpaper” button.

Once you have done the above you should have a new wallpaper on your iPhone/iPod Touch to enjoy.
