This week will see the second addition of content to Capcom’s Mega Man 9 which can be found on WiiWare, Xbox LIVE Arcade, and the PlayStation Network.
The new additions will include:
- Hard Mode which allows you to play the game at an increased difficulty (isn’t the game hard enough?) with alternate enemy distribution and spawning points. This mode is not compatible with Rankings or Challenge Modes.
- Expert Mode- Not for the weak, this mode triples (TRIPLES?) the default Mega Man 9 difficulty setting. This mode is also not compatible with Rankings or Challenge Modes.
- Special Time Attack Stage which gives you an additional stage to use in Time Attack Mode with a new level and Robot Master Boss, “Fake Man”.
The WiiWare downloadable content is available today via the WiiWare Channel. The Xbox LIVE Arcade version will be available on 10/21 and the PlayStation Network version will be released on 10/23. Good luck and have fun getting your head handed to you because Mega Man 9 is one tough game.
