PlayOn Launches Services in Canada

Netflix, YouTube, ESPN, NHL, CNN, PBS, and Revision3 Among Initial Content Offering.

SEATTLE - October 27, 2010 MediaMall Technologies, Inc. today announced the official launch of PlayOn support for content available in Canadian markets. A software solution that enables streaming of online video content to the living room TV and iOS mobile devices, Canada residents may now use the service to access shows from a number of providers, including Netflix, YouTube, ESPN, NHL, CNN, PBS, and Revision3.

Simply download PlayOn to your home PC and begin streaming through a networked Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 or Microsoft Xbox 360 game console, or any number of available DLNA-compliant devices. Users wishing to access their favorite shows on the go may download the PlayOn app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and stream all available shows over 3G or Wi-Fi, on and off the home network.

Consumers may sign up for a free 14-day trial of the service, after which a subscription to PlayOn Premium will be required at a cost of $39.99 for the first year and $19.99 for each year thereafter, covering all future software/content updates and support.
