Runaway: A Road Adventure Adds More Point-and-Click Fun to GOG.com

GOG.com is adding another point-and-click adventure to its ever-growing catalogue of Good Old Games. This time it’s Runaway: A Road Adventure from French publisher and distributor, Focus Home Interactive. And in case you somehow forgot, all the games at GOG.com are DRM-free and fully compatible with Windows XP and Vista.

Runaway: A Road Adventure is a cartoon-like adventure game that combines romance, mystery, action and deception. The game tells the story of Brian Basco, a college student whose life dramatically changes after he meets a beautiful and mysterious stripper. The unexpected meeting with Gina wouldn’t be so bad if Mafia gangsters didn’t want to blow Brian’s head off. Now together with Gina he has to avoid and escape the killers.

“We know point-and-click adventures are a genre that gamers really miss, and we want to fulfill that demand,” said Adam Oldakowski, Managing Director of GOG.com. “Runaway is an explosive mixture of murder, money, romance and deception, so there’s something for everyone!”

“Runaway: A Road Adventure has been praised as the renewal of the point-and-click genre and it’s a great pleasure to see it being offered on GOG.com,” stated Axel Delafon, International Product Manager at Focus. “It’s one of the rare titles that never gets old and it should please all players looking for an excellent game with a marvelous scenario.”

Runaway: A Road Adventure (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/runaway_a_road_adventure) is available at GOG.com for $9.99. Stay tuned for more news concerning new deals, more new releases and new service features in the upcoming weeks.
