Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii for $19.82 on Walmart.com

Walmart.com currently has Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii for pre-order for only $19.82. This is an amazing price and I just pre-ordered a few copies and the transaction went through without any problems. I am not sure if this is a price error or if they will honor the price once they notice the error, but it can’t hurt to try an order for $19.82 if you were interested in getting the game when it comes out next month.

All they can do is tell us that the price was wrong and that our order was canceled. So, if you wanted to get Super Smash Bros. Brawl for $19.82 instead of $49.99 like it will be normally priced head on over to Walmart.com now!

UPDATE - January 14, 2008: All of the orders for Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the $19.82 price have been canceled by Walmart.  I guess it was too good to be true.  Maybe next time.

Thanks for the tip! Hopefully the deal goes through and they don’t tell us it was a pricing mistake and cancel our orders.

I think Buy.com or Amazon.com had the wrong price in the past and they ended up canceling the orders and I think they gave everyone a $5.00 gift certificate for their troubles. I guess if they cancel it we may at least get something small in return???

Way to raise the red flags and order multiple copies. :P This is a definite must have game and that is a must have price, but similar to when Best Buy had Rock band priced at $49.99 with instruments. Anyway, they ended up canceling every order and giving a $5 temporary gift card to be used within a month. Big rip off. I suspect Walmart won’t honor these orders, but if they do good for you, send one my way.

It was Best Buy! I knew one of those places gave $5.00 gift certificates in the past. I am doubtful they will honor these orders also, but Toy R Us sold Super Mario Galaxy for $50 with a free $25 gift card on launch day, so this price isn’t too far off from that. I still think it is a mistake, but maybe Walmart will come through for us (crosses fingers).
