Wild Earth: African Safari Ships For Wii

EDISON, N.J., April 22, 2008 - Today on Earth Day, Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, announced it has shipped Wild Earth: African Safari for WiiTM to retail outlets nationwide. Wild Earth promotes environmental awareness by teaching players about more than 30 different species of exotic animals within their natural African habitat.

In Wild Earth: African Safari, players assume the role of a photo-journalist on assignment in Africa’s Serengeti National Park. Throughout the game’s 11 missions, adventurous photographers seeking out award-winning pictures can cruise the Park by land or air to investigate the bold hyena in a midday thunderstorm or observe the gentle giraffe grazing in the valley. While seeking the perfect picture of cheetahs, rhinos, lions, zebras and many more species, players must refrain from getting too close to the animals or disrupting the natural landscape; if they do, the Impact Meter will rumble the Wii RemoteTM and make it harder to snap a steady picture.

Two new features exclusive to the Wii version include a cooperative multiplayer mode that allows up to four friends to either drive or shoot photographs, and a Safari Arcade Game mode where gamers can play from the animals’ perspective in 11 games using intuitive gestures with the Wii Remote.  In addition, an inspiring soundtrack from world music label, Talking Drum Records, lends an atmospheric backdrop to the game.

Developed by Super X Studios, Wild Earth African Safari is rated E for Everyone, and is now available for a suggested retail price of $29.99.  To find out more and watch the gameplay trailer, please visit www.majescoentertainment.com.
