Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls DLC, ‘The Red Shadow of the Sister’ Now Available for Download on PlayStation Network

Following up on its recent launch of the Granddaddy of RPGs, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls, XSEED Games is delivering fans all-new add-on content for the timeless dungeon-crawling first-person RPG. Set in a world of mysterious dungeons and adventurous monster-slayers, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is all about exploring the darkened depths of ominous tombs and catacombs, and exterminating the monsters that lie therein.

In the new expansion, “The Red Shadow of the Sister,” players will have the option of delving into the newly discovered Deep Levels of Shiin’s Dungeon, home to destructive monsters of colossal might but filled with rewards of great worth to cunning adventurers. Meanwhile, in the world above, rumors have begun to circulate regarding the mysterious keeper of the temple, Sister Samantha. Has she really been seen attacking the innocent within these Deep Levels, despite her religious affiliations?

Players will also meet a new NPC and battle over 25 new monsters such as the Musashi Devil, Cosmo Giant and deceptively cute-looking (but decidedly evil) Darkness Bunny. Over 15 new items are available as well, from the Helm of Mists to the Cyclone Orochi, all of which add to the enjoyment ofWizardry’s distinctively addictive old-school RPG gameplay. This add-on content to Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls, “The Red Shadow of the Sister,” is available now for download on the PlayStation Network at a price of $7.99. The full version of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is required to play.

With 30 years of history behind its name, Wizardry is one of the longest-running franchises in gaming and is widely recognized as being one of the most influential titles in the RPG genre. One of the first games to implement the concept of a first-person perspective to navigate through grid-based dungeons,Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls mixes classic gameplay elements with modern, sharp, hand-drawn images presented in colorful high definition.

The game was developed by ACQUIRE and published by XSEED Games in North America and is rated “T” (for Teen) by the ESRB. More information can be found by visiting the game’s official website at www.wizardryps3.com
