X3: Terran Conflict Rolling Demo Available Now

Benchmarking demo highlights the awesome graphical capabilities of EGOSOFT’s latest title.

Würselen, Germany - November 7, 2008 - EGOSOFT, a renowned developer of acclaimed computer games for PC, Mac and Linux, announced today that a rolling benchmark demo for their recently released PC title, X3: Terran Conflict, is now available for downloading. X3: Terran Conflict is available now, exclusively through Steam, a leading platform for the delivery and management of PC games and digital content with over 15 million accounts around the world.

The demo is interactive and shows off the impressive graphical detail of the fourth and final game in the popular X series. IGN said of X3: Terran Conflict’s graphics, “X3 is a beautiful game…the bigger craft and particularly the space stations are dazzling - fraught with painstaking detail and modeled in a most imaginative fashion,” and GamePro raved that “A living breathing world has never looked so good.”

This demo is a great tool for people wanting to test or even review graphical cards and other PC components. The demo highlights four very high-res screens from X3: Terran Conflict rendered completely with in-game assets and the original engine (nothing is pre-rendered), and will also feature game music and loading screens explaining X3: Terran Conflict features and gameplay mechanics.

It is now available for download from EGOSOFT’s website, www.egosoft.com.
