Speedball 2 Evolution Hits PlayStation Network Next Week

The Bitmap Brothers classic futuristic sports game will be going live on Sony Playstation 3 and PSP via the Playstation Network Store next week as a Minis game. Following Speedball 2 Evolution’s phenomenal chart topping success earlier this year on iOS and Apple Mac, Tower Studios have been keeping the latest version of this evergreen title under wraps from its legion of fans until NOW.

Boasting brutal gameplay, tons of game modes and super-slick visuals the game will be downloadable for FREE, exclusively for all Playstation Plus subscribers next week. October 4th in North America, October 5th in Europe and other territories.

The game will also be available & bombing its way up the charts on the Playstation Network Store. October 18th in North America $6.99, October 19th in Europe €4.99 / £3.99 and other territories.

Thursday, 29th September 2011: The Bitmap Brothers, Tower Studios and Vivid Games have joined forces again to create a stunning Sony Minis version of Speedball 2 Evolution for Playstation 3 and Sony PSP. A brutal fusion of Ice Hockey, Football and Pinball, Speedball was first played in 1990 and has gone on to grace almost every major games platform since… and long may it continue.

The Sony Minis version of Speedball 2 Evolution follows fast on the heels of the game’s stupendous launch on iPad, iPhone and Mac earlier this year where it topped the charts across Europe before
climbing the charts Worldwide with over 500,000 downloads, to universal critical acclaim.
